Community & Family Screenings
Festival CINERGIE hosts yearly free Community and Family Screenings throughout the year in Saskatoon for the Francophone Winter Carnaval, International Women's Rights, International Francophonie Month, Pride Month, and at the Festival Fransaskois. We sometimes host online screenings and in rural communities in Saskatchewan.

LOOKING TO PRESENT A FREE MOVIE SCREENING IN YOUR COMMUNITY OR SCHOOL?
Thanks to IF Cinéma - Institut Francais and ONF, we can help you organize a free, public community screening in French in your town or a free private screening in your school in Saskatchewan.
What we can provide:

Free access to hundreds of films and series in French, from Canada, France and other francophone countries from IF Cinéma and ONF/NFB librairies*; many genres covered, including school appropriate and educational films and series.

You will not have to worry about obtaining a screening license or paying screening fees with distributors.

Graphic design services to help you promote your free screening.
*We cannot guarantee free access to specific films you wish to screen, if they are not listed in these databases or if current screening rights are not available in Canada. If you are looking for a specific film that is not available for free, we can help you with the process of purchasing a screening license and obtaining the film with the distributor*
What you'll need:

An available space to screen the film such as:

school classroom, auditorium or gymnasium ;

community space, or rental space (such as a library theatre room)

A projector that can connect to a computer and a projector screen

A computer to play the movie

A sound system/speaker for sound (if it is not built in the projector)
